Seghesio 2008 Zinfandel

Loads of berry with hints of licorice and spice aromas lead to a heady, full bodied, rich and layered Zinfandel.
The 2007 vintage of Seghesio’s Sonoma Zin received 93 points from the Wine Spectator and disappeared in a flash, make sure to get a few bottles of the 2008 before it goes away.

Plungerhead Wine

Winery folk are slightly batty…the Plungerhead Zinfandel (Lodi, California) was created to needle Eddie Plongerheid, one of the winery employees. Hope they cut him in on some of the profits…it’s a best seller!

Hendry Wines

George Hendry is a second generation grape grower in Napa Valley whose vineyards provided the first five vintages of Opus One. Long story short, he now keeps those grapes and makes some of the best wines available in California.
