My favorite value wine for the summer is the Ken Forrester Petit Chenin, from South Africa. Frequently selected by Wine Spectator Magazine as the “Wine of the Week,” it goes well with many light foods, and a sunny day by the pool. On the Armond rating scale, I give it four paws up! (and you will find it by it’s bright green label).
